I would like to take a few minutes to thank Top Hat Comfort Services, on the recommendation by Doug Myers, senior sales rep, on the wood burning fireplace that would be suited for our house space. He recommended the Canadian made RSF Pearl 3600 fireplace. We were very satisfied with the whole process from the professional selection of the fireplace and the Top Hat team that carried out the installation and finishing of the fireplace.
This review pertains to the purchase and installation of a Pacific Energy Summit LE wood stove. We chose TopHat after reviewing all options in the area. TopHat (Glen and team) just seemed to better understand our questions and provide meaningful, no-nonsense answers. We had a tricky situation with my roof/ceiling configuration and were very concerned about how the installation would look in our main living room. Shane and the team took every step to understand our concerns and ensure the installation was exactly what we wanted. The install was perfect as we requested. We have used our stove as the primary heating source for 2 years now. It works perfectly and heats our 1400 sq st home ...all while looking great. The only time we let the fire go out in the winter is to clean out the ashes (once every 4 or 5 days) Its a Pacific Energy Summit LE from year 2022 and we are extremely pleased with it. PS these modern wood stoves need good ventilation so it took us a few fires to figure this out.

He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly and conducted a home visit to ensure the insert would fit. Doug clearly identified the processes involved from order to installation. Thanks to Brian who came by before the install to do a chimney sweep. Another big thank you to Shayne and Kerry and crew for the excellent installation. This team was personable, quick, competent, detailed and organized .. and they cleaned up their work space nicely. They also agreed to move their truck when another unrelated contractor needed some space in the driveway aswell. A great experience with TopHat over all!
